Music & Movement
Arts & Crafts
Cooking for Fun
Sign Language
Beginner Spanish
These enrichment opportunities give your child an incredible head start — building language awareness, creativity, cultural appreciation, and early technology skills from age two!
Special Projects — Hands-On, Deep Exploration
Your child will participate in age-appropriate special themed projects – they are extended, hands-on explorations that give children the opportunity to:
Dive deep into one age-appropriate topic over an extended period of time
Use imaginative play and real-life experiences to make connections
Build curiosity, focus, and early research skills in a fun, pressure-free environment
This project-based approach helps children develop critical thinking skills while continuing to encourage a love of learning.
The following enrichment classes are included in the weekly tuition:
Music and Movement – The activities and games focus on team building, confidence, and the development of large motor skills. Yoga is part of the routine to help children find calm and breathe. The goal is to allow children to express themselves in different ways, using materials and instruments while enjoying the art of music. Moving to music comes naturally to children, and students can’t wait to share their experience with their friends and family.
Art Appreciation Class – Children learn about primary and secondary colors and how to use the primary colors to make secondary colors. Every month, children will learn about a different famous artist and the medium that the artist used to draw, paint or sculpt. Children will be making color wheels and painting with marbles, brushes, Q-Tips, strings, straws, fingers, and much more…
Cooking For Fun – Children will learn how to make healthy snacks through a program designed by a local Pediatrician. The goal is to introduce nutritious foods and encourage the children to try them. When children make their own healthy snacks together, they are more likely to eat new foods.
Sign Language – Children love to sign and learn basic words to communicate, while learning to use words. Many tantrums and the “Terrible Twos” are directly linked to frustration about communication. There is less frustration when your child can communicate with signs that both the child and the adult can understand.
Beginner Spanish Classes – Studies have shown that introducing foreign languages at an early age helps children to improve their cognitive skills. The basics included are colors, shapes, the alphabet, animals, songs, friends, and family members.
The playground – Children participate in daily outdoor play (as weather permits) on our state-of-the-art playground or in our multipurpose room, so even on rainy or hot/cold days, children are able to participate in active play.
Bounce House – Our preschool-age and below children are provided time to play in the bounce house in our multipurpose room, ensuring they are able to participate in active play.
