Junior Kindergarten at Creative Academy Childcare & Camp
Creative Academy Childcare & Camp offers Private schooling in a home school atmosphere where emphasis is on the basics. Our “home is where the heart is” setting focuses on reading, writing, and arithmetic. The curriculum is phonics and Christian based with emphasis on science, Social Studies, literature, art, language arts, history and geography, spelling and poetry, penmanship, health, and fitness. Children are taught respect for nature, which in turn carries over to their learning to respect all people in all environments. Class size consists of 10 children to one teacher for individualized attention.
The following enrichment classes are included in the weekly tuition music and movement, art appreciation class, cooking for fun, introduction to German, computer lab, sign language, beginners Spanish.
Children participate in daily outside play on our state of the art playground or the bounce house in our multipurpose room so even on rainy days or hot / cold days children are able to participate in active play. The playground and Bounce House are the children’s favorite activities.

All of our preschool programs are conducted by experienced teachers within a creative and well equipped classroom environment. Educational lesson plans emphasize reading readiness and math concepts. As in any program at Creative Child Care, you will be apprised of your child’s progress. At the preschool level student assessment is conducted to chart your child’s’ progress. We also hold Parent Teacher Conferences so that you may go over your child’s specific preschool progress with his or her teacher.
